Turning 90 years old.

On April 17 a very dear friend of mine, Mrs. Laura, turned 90 years old.  She is the oldest, energetic, cheerful, loving, and funny lady I know.  Over the past two weeks Laura has had varies birthdays.  On Tuesday she had the Mississauga Orchestra play her Happy Birthday, twice!  On Wednesday her bridge club gave her a surprise birthday.  Then on Saturday, her family surprised her with a huge birthday.  Over the course of Saturday over 70 friends and family of Laura came to wish her a great 90th birthday.

Now, what do you get a 90 year old woman?  Well, flowers of course!  Almost everyone brought her a beautiful bouquet of flowers.  She keeps saying that she could open a flower shop with all the flowers in her house.

One highlight of Saturday was the visit from our wards councillor, Mr. Starr.  He brought Laura a plaque and wished her a happy birthday.

Here are few pictures from her birthday.
