Let’s Light It Up!

Light can be considered the medium of photography and your camera and lens the tool.  To me, the photographer, light is generally the most important photographic element in any scene.  By controlling the direction, quality, and colour of light, I can 

 1)      Emphasize shape, form, or texture, 

 2)      Control what is highlighted or hidden,

 3)      Develop the feel and mood of the image.

Here I was playing with my camera flash and a table lamp.  I love the mood that was created!
