Quote of the day

I was reading Canada’s Style at Home magazine and came across this quote from a talented Interior Designer.

“A room without contrast is like food without seasoning,

or poetry without metaphor or rhythm. 

It’s bland, flat, boring!”

To me, this quote can easily be transcribed over to photography.  By replacing the word ‘room’ with ‘photograph’ I convey the same feeling that Alexa Hampton has for a room’s contrast to a photograph’s contrast.
